Red Oak Burl Deep Relief Carving

This is an exceptional burl. It is very sound with few imperfections and was very very hard to carve.The piece has a hanger cut in the back to enable it to be hung on a wall or simply lay on a table or counter.
This piece measures 21-3/4 inches tall by 16 inches wide.
The finish is a two step hand rubbed oil then buffed to a soft glow.
